Amahl and the Night Visitors

From the early days of TV, an opera by Gian Carlo Menotti, ’Amahl and the Night Visitors’ (1951). I’m watching it on Stephen Jay Gould’s belated recommendation (he also much loved Gilbert and Sullivan).
