Subject: [CogLAs] echo neurons?
To: CogLAs@lists.purdue.edu
Can anyone help me with this question: are there studies suggesting that the effects of _hearing_ about actions being performed is similar to the effects (mirror neurons) of _seeing_ an action performed? It would make sense in a way, but some rather different symbolic processing is involved in either case.
Thank you in advance!
