Sobre la Filología y la teoría crítica:
La interfaz Lingüística/Literatura

Este artículo recoge íntegramente únicamente la contribución de J. A. García Landa a la mesa redonda "Sobre Filología y Teoría Crítica: La interfaz Lingüística/Literatura", presentada al congreso de AEDEAN (2003). La mesa redonda trató sobre diversos aspectos de la relación entre estudios literarios, lingüísticos y filológicos, tanto en una perspectiva general como en lo relativo al contexto institucional de la Filología Inglesa en España. Se comentaron desarrollos recientes tocantes a la conceptualización de los fenómenos lingúísticos (lingüística integracional, pragmalingüística, etc.) atendiendo tanto a sus implicaciones disciplinarias como a las institucionales.

ABSTRACT
This paper includes only J. A. García Landa’s contribution to the panel "On Philology and Critical Theory: The Linguistics/Literature Interface" presented at the 2003 AEDEAN conference. This panel addressed several issues related with the relationship betweeen linguistics, literary studies, and philology (both from a general theoretical perspective and in the institutional context of Spanish Anglistics). Recent developments in the conceptualization of linguistic phenomena (integrational linguistics, pragmalinguistics, etc.) were discussed, with attention being paid both to their disciplinary and their institutional implications.
