Soundless Fury
Comentando títulos shakespeareanos para un blog, veo que salen muchos del famoso parlamento "Signifying Nothing" de Macbeth, aquel que dice
To-morrow, and to-morrow, and to-morrow,
Creeps in this petty pace, from day to day,
To the last syllable of recorded time;
And all our yesterdays have lighted fools
The way to dusty death. Out, out brief candle!
Life's but a walking shadow; a poor player,
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage,
And then is heard no more; it is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
signifying nothing.
What a load of possibilities for blog titles in that quote. Just imagine (with the right image):
- "Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow"
- "This petty pace (from day to day)"
- "The Last Syllable of Recorded Time"
Or again:
- "All Our Yesterdays"
Or "Lighted fools" (screen, readers, etc.- not nice, that one, and I'd also drop "Tale told by an idiot")
- "The Way to Dusty Death"
- "Brief Candle"
- "Walking Shadow"
- "Strutting and Fretting"
- "Sound Fury"
- "The Signifyin' Nothing"
Take your pick!
Aún me dejo unos cuantos en el tintero/teclero:
- "Life's Butter"
- "Out! Out!"
- "Poor player!"
- "My Hour Upon the Stage"
- "A Tale Told by a Walking Shadow" (este para blogs anónimos)

Sigo actualizando, naturalmente, mi Shakespeare blog particular, que utilizo como sitio de apoyo e información a las clases sobre Shakespeare que estoy dando este cuatrimestre.
En otro mood (fretting, soundless fury), envío al Rincón de Opinión de mi universidad una opinión que añado a mi post que reza "Si la ley no lo prohibe explícitamente... estamos cubiertos".
