Bien, hasta la fecha podemos concluir que voy en cabeza con varios pelotones de adelanto. A estas fechas de junio de 2012, de los más de ochenta miembros del Departamento de Filología Inglesa y Alemana, veinte se han dado de alta en Academia, y han subido 240 publicaciones, una media de 12.  La media la subo yo mucho, porque si me descontamos a mí, la media se queda en 5,7. De las 240 publicaciones, 131 son mías—y seguido voy por el Dr. Collado que también ha subido unas cuantas de sus publicaciones. Cierto es que les llevo a los demás mucha ventaja temporal, pues fui el primero que se dio de alta en Academia, y sólo después de varios anuncios y circulares etc. que envié a AEDEAN empezó a darse de alta alguno más, años después. O sea que tranquilos, el pelotón pronto me alcanzará, que no quiero yo decir que tenga yo en realidad más publicaciones que todos mis colegas juntos...
... y aún menos quiero decir que mis publicaciones sean más buenas, que de calidad no hemos hablado ni comparado. Ni compararemos, porque, créanme, nadie se va leer jamás, en la historia de la Humanidad, todas las publicaciones de un departamento.

En número de visitas tenemos tanto Collado como yo alguna publicación que supera las mil visitas. Mi publicación más vista es

 con más de 1400 visitas-que-no-lecturas...

—pero la palma se la lleva este artículo de Andrés Romero sobre Drácula, con más de mil quinientas visitas so far.
