IBSN, EBSN, USA, URSS, OAS, UNESCO...

Thank you for your information concerning ESBN.ORG.
I find it highly interesting, and I am happy to learn that this service
exists. I do not think, however, that the "IBSN" is much related
to the issues you are concerned with. The thing began as a kind of meme
or in-joke in a blogging circle, so it should not be considered a "service"
(in any event it would be a "self-service"!) and much less as
"my" service in any relevant way. I see it as a humorous form
of self-expression and communication rather than as an effective classifying
or tagging device. At least that is the way I envisage the issue. I am aware,
however, that other people may have different views, especially considering
that this "phenomenon" is not a society or an organized project;
it is (and I think will remain) the merest of ripples in the blogosphere.
Nonetheless, if you wish to contact the current webmaster of the IBSN site,
as far as I’m aware he can be found here:

Ay, se me había pasado contestarte a lo de la URL/IBSN, jio. En parte estoy de acuerdo contigo, pero por ejemplo, si un blog consta de muchas páginas, todas tienen distinta URL, pero en cambio podrían tener (si son "conceptualmente una unidad") el mismo IBSN. Tampocos es que sirva para nada: en la web las unidades conceptuales se difuminan a través de los enlaces...

Pues un "éxito" inesperado del todo, Gratal, jeje, a mí que nunca me ha molado eso de los memes... Y sí que iba por allí lo de las siglas, sí; a Dámaso Alonso le iban a hacer chiribitas los ojos con esto del IBSN.

eres un cachondo. al final te acabarán llamando los de la BNE y te encargan el proyecto y les haces numerar a tod@s de verdad. creo que te adentras en el mundo de matrix :D
por mi parte siempre he creído que los isbn´s de internet son las propias url´s si no estuviera bien codificado no funcionaría "el libro".
